Step 1: Visit the Migration Website
Visit the official and only website (https://t.co/AHz2CW1smz) for the token migration. You’ll find the instructions regarding the token migration process.
Step 2: Verify Information
Before proceeding, double-check all information and make sure it is provided by the project team. *NO ONE WILL EVER DM YOU FIRST.* All information will be shared in the main chat, socials, and nowhere else. If you are unsure about why the migration is necessary, feel free to ask us any questions. The main reasons are; compromised old contract, we have no ownership of the liquidity pool, and a new upgradeable contract allows us to innovate and build.
Step 3: Connect Your Wallet
Connect your wallet to the migration page. Supported wallets include MetaMask, Trust Wallet, or other popular BSC wallets. Make sure that your wallet contains the old $PETS tokens that you want to migrate.
Step 4: Approve Old Tokens
Navigate to the migration section and find the "Migrate" button. Click on it to initiate the approval process. This step allows the migration contract to interact with your old tokens.
Step 5: Confirm Transaction
A pop-up window from your wallet will appear, prompting you to confirm the transaction. Review the transaction details, including gas fees, and confirm the approval.
Step 6: Wait for Confirmation
After confirming the transaction, wait for it to be confirmed on the BSC blockchain. This may take a few minutes, so be patient.
Step 7: Initiate Token Swap
Once the approval is confirmed, find the "Initiate Token Swap" button. Click on it to start the token migration process.
Step 7A: Note the Fixed Conversion Rate
Please Note: There will be a fixed conversion rate for the migration. The tokenomics will be changing for the new token. Be aware of the new token's features such as; New total Supply, new utility, and any changes to its use cases.
Step 8: Confirm Transaction Again
A new pop-up window will appear, asking you to confirm the token swap transaction. Review the details, including the number of old tokens you are swapping, and confirm the transaction.
Step 9: Wait for Migration Period
There will be a waiting period specified by the project team to allow all users to migrate their tokens. During this time, everyone who migrates receives their new tokens but they can’t be traded.
Step 10: Migration Closure
Once the migration period ends, the project team will close the migration. Ensure that you have completed the token migration before the deadline, as you may not be able to migrate after this point.
Step 11: Acquire old LP
After the migration closure, the project team will gather all the old tokens and perform a controlled sell-off to retrieve as much liquidity as possible.
Step 12: Provide LP for new token contract
In this step, the project team will establish liquidity for the new token contract. The team will contribute a reserve of tokens to the designated liquidity pool. This creates a well-balanced liquidity pool so that the new token can be traded effectively and find its place in the market.
Step 13: Activate Trading
The project team will activate trading for the new tokens on the specified exchange(s) once the migration is complete and the new tokenomics are in effect. Users can now trade, hold, or use their new tokens as intended.
